Huitong Biotechnology's Annual Production of 35000 Tons of Polylactic Acid Project Debugging

On May 20, 2025, Yangzhou Huitong Biological New Materials Co., Ltd.'s annual production of 35000 tons of polylactic acid project (Phase I) was commissioned, and the first batch of qualified products were successfully produced. Previously, the pilot phase of the project was completed in 2023 and has now entered the 10000 ton commissioning phase.
This project uses the independently developed propylene ester production process and key equipment of Yangzhou Huitong Technology Co., Ltd., and adopts Sulzer's propylene ester purification and polymerization key equipment and technology. The products produced can be used in the fields of fibers, plastics, 3D printing, and films, and can meet the diversified needs of the market.
